Mission & History Charlestown Lacrosse & Learning Center envisions a community in which young people of all ages and backgrounds possess the leadership skills, self-confidence and knowledge to succeed on the field, in the classroom and in life.
Not every student needs help every week and not every student can commit to a weekly meeting with an assigned tutor. For these students, drop-in homework help is a perfect fit. CLLC has partnered with Northeastern University’s Sport in Society, a partnership designed for NU Varsity Athletes to perform weekly community service hours at the Learning Center. Not only do our students have the benefit of working on homework or preparing for a test with Division One college athletes, but the program also provides a friendship and a mentoring opportunity for both our students and the NU athletes.
Drop-In Homework Help is available Monday through Thursday 2:30 - 4:30. Students do not need an appointment, all Boston students are welcome.
